Italy crushed England 3-2 in a punishment shootout in the last of the UEFA Euro 2020 at the British Wembley Stadium and got its subsequent European title.
The two groups went to extra shots after the match and additional 30 minutes finished in a 1-1 draw.
Britain, which was trying to win its first European title, had scored the opener in the second moment by its wingback Luke Shaw. Shaw’s objective was the speediest scored in an European Championship last.

In the punishments, Domenico Berardi, Leonardo Bonucci and Federico Bernardeschi scored for Italy and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made two recoveries.
