Kuwait said 1,280 people had tested positive for the coronavirus while four related deaths were reported on Friday, bringing the total to 314,569 and 1,787, respectively, according to the Health Ministry. Ministry spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in a press conference, that another 1,156 people have been cured of the virus, bringing the total of those who have overcome the disease to 298,485 people. He added that the number of people infected with the virus in hospitals is currently 14,297, including 151 in intensive care units, explaining that about 11,064 swabs were conducted during the last day out of a total of 2.65 million. He urged citizens and residents alike that adhering to health precautions, especially following the rules of social distancing, is the only way to stop the spread of the virus.
